The best environment for this strain is a greenhouse, no question. It’s the right combination of sunny and warm with room to expand. Plants are branching and reach about five feet, so a lot of floor space will help maximize the yield. Indoor growing can work as well, as long as there is plenty of light. Screen of Green growing and trellising are great for maximizing the light levels on the plant. The more light at each bud site, the bigger the buds can grow.

Watch out for bugs with this strain. Growing inside and in greenhouses helps keep pests away for your plants. If you need to use a pesticide, lean towards options like neem oil that are non-toxic to humans. That will let you use the pesticide all the way until harvest.

Flowering Time

Indoor

Growing indoors is a safe bet with Space Cake weed. Grown in soil, plants are typically ready for harvest in about nine weeks. Look for 10-12 ounces per square meter when grown under grow lights.

Outdoor

Northern hemisphere growers tend to harvest at the beginning of October. If bugs are kept away, yields can be impressive for moderately sized plants – look for 14-16 ounces per plant in greenhouses and the outdoors.
